the standard of ma in usa must be worsh then i thort, you guys dont know this stuff, what have you been aimin for when you strike, general head area,
    best areas
jaw line bout one inch from the point of chin
    philtrum,
    sterno mastoid muscle
    temple
any of the cranial nerve areas
bridge of nose (not a fight stopper but very messy!)
orbital bone (not a fight stopper but fucks with there vision)
jugular notch (lethel if done right)
general trachae (lethal if done right)
    solar plexis/ziphoid process

genrally its very hard to hurt people so aim for over kill/skill

You've got to be kidding right? It's hard enough to land a solid strike anywhere let alone pick out individual targets like the philtrum or temple. Unless of course you plan on using a pre-emptive strike or sucker punch.

You've got to be kidding right? You can't target a spot on the human head and hit it within one or two tries? Need to work with a double ended bag more.

Not when the other guy is trying to hit you too - it tends to complicate things

    1) why on earth would you wait to get hit before hitting them back,
    2) even if you miss youll still be hittin a vunrible area head/neck
    3) even if you miss the knifehand you'l still be hitting with the forarm

    4) ive been drunk of my ass, on pain killers, with one hand in bandages from a hand op and still hit someone thro the face with my one good hand, its not that hard, hand a goes to target b, repeat till hand soggy

now sparrin with someone is a very different thing, so dont get drawn into a sparin match in real life, if they bounce leg kick them, they ask for a match fight say no, then knock them out whilst there congratulating themselves mentally about how great they are....

Sure i got in a fight a few years back with a guy, parried his punches and pulled him forward into a standing armbar then did a vertical fist punch followed by a backfist into his temple then a takedown... if i remember correctly (and i can remember it pretty vividly) i hit him exactly on the temple.

MMA Phil likes to do his sumo entrance prior to any "street" altercations. Then both go into stances and commence fighting.

My single chopstick is bad at serving soup, cutting steaks and basting roasts and chickens. Besides that it owns.

My point is simply that it is very hard to land accurate strikes in a fight because it's so chaotic.

Kusa - Of course boxers hit each other in the head, but how often does one of them land a clean KO strike?
