Armed suspects rob convenience store
By BRAD CROCKER
PASCAGOULA -- Three heavily-armed suspects involved in a Saturday night armed robbery are being sought by the Pascagoula Police Department. Hai O'Brien reported that three black males dressed in black colored clothing and wearing bandannas over their faces entered the T&T convenience store, 3219 14th St., at 10:30 p.m.
The suspects displayed their weapons, demanded money and left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
"One of the men was armed with a black colored semi-automatic pistol, while the other two were armed with a martial arts-type sword and sticks chained together, commonly referred to as nun-chucks," Pascagoula Police Lt. Chuck Fowler said Monday.
Detective Sgt. Cindy Jenkins is investigating the case. Anyone with information regarding the robbery is encouraged to call the Pascagoula Police Department at 762-2211.
No injuries were reported. All three suspects were described as black males standing 5 feet, 10 inches and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
