Are men ready for a Female bouncer?

Why is this even a news story? In the UK, we've had female bouncers for years.

Here's a question that's somewhat related to this topic...

If a female bouncer or fighter wants respect from guys, does acting "girly" (flirting, wearing skimpy clothes, etc...) detract from gaining respect or is it enough to just have skill? Some of the girls in my club act this way and clearly the guys don't treat them as equals but most of them are also relatively new and not very skilled.

It didn't say they were the first female bouncers...or the first ones in Toronto. We had them YEARS ago. Hell, I dated one (she was a bit of a stuck up bitch from a rich family...so she basically could be a bitch without consequences.)
