Whether Al Moore Sr. learned kung fu before or after he learned kenpo doesnt concern me too much. If it did I suppose I would ask his son.
And no your shou shu is not more fluid than ours so there.

well I suppose it might bother me more if I heard it anywhere else then from Truth Seeker. In fact I never heard of any of the claims given here. I never really asked. I mean if I am talking with someone about the technique its 'how can I do this better" not "what was the name of the chinese fellow that made this technique". Ya know? Honestly if it seems good as a fighting system (which it does) then I don't care about the credability. I've said that already. I like the people I work with, my teachers, and what I am learning, so I would rather train here then somewhere else with better history. Hell, if some dude started joe-shmo polar bear kung fu and I tried it, liked it, and found it effective then I wouldn't care about the bullshit. Its whether the TRAINING is bullshit. And my school's training isn't so I train there.
And to switchblade, im sure your shou shu is just as fluid as mine I just wasn't sure because I don't know and moores people. Hei long shou shu is different, though. Have you heard of us?

and for the record I am not the only one. We have students that used to, or still do train in other, more reputable martial arts. And by that I mean everything from shaolin tiger to MMA to taekwondo.

who seems to be right about what, lol.

no, I havn't. ive seen moores ones and quite frankly, they do look weak. My school only has filmed christmas party performances, which are just katas with weapons. And those aren't online anyways. But I would never expect anyone to film the training though. Ive never heard of that before. We spar all the time but we don't have, like formal first, second, third place tournaments or anything else like that that would want to be filmed.
