I'm in the market for a new Gi, I was leaning towards an Adidas Gi. Has anyone had one and if so are they any use? Or are there any other brands that are good?

I absolutely despise wearing a gi. I've yet to find one that didn't annoy me. Just make sure you find one that is durable. Nothing is worse then spending money on a Gi and having it shredded in a matter of weeks.

Don't you do Kyokushin, shouldn't be foaming at the mouth at the opportunity to spend $250 for an IWAMA gi?
But in Enshin we use a Rhino or Rhingo gi heavyweight, so when we throw each other etc.

Any chance of posting links to where I can actually buy them?
1% Shark is better than you.

I have a Juka Emerald, I love it, tournament cut rules!

The Gold one looks good, did you order that from that site?

Yes I did.
I didn't get the Gold because 14oz is a really heavyweight Gi. It's kinda hot for training here. If you have good AC or a cold gym it might work. I highly recommend tournament cut though.

i mostly stick with century. they fit me well and they're cheap enough (wholesale, anyway) that i don't *care* if they get shredded doing ground work or training outside.

Remember to tear off the sleaves and speckle it with red paint so you'll have a bloodstained muscle gi.
