I'd go with the BJJ as the more defensive of the two. Muay Thai works best when you can do all the conditioning, where as BJJ is mostly technique.

If you want to be deadly, do Aikido and Wing Chun

Forget both and look into women's self defense classes. Meet slightly less hot chicks (maybe a few c-section scars, spider vains, smoking lines no biggy), and learn to be deadly on teh str33t.

Oh, take Krav Maga. Get the same as above, but you meet hot chicks and get colorful handwraps.:icon_thum

If you only plan on going 2 times a week and I have this odd feeling your not really going to try at all while your there or practice except for those two times a week. Go find cardio kickboxing or tae bo.

BJJ is self defense vs one guy. Muay Thai is self defense for the guy who has a really good lawyer. Tae bo is self defense against the McDonalds I know your eating every day. Go with the Tae Bo.

At least he didn't suggest a MT Vs BJJ death match
Asianbeef: If you want to know about BJJ go to Department for homeland security, if you want to know about MT got to stikistan & use the:

    SEARCH FUNCTION
"This won't hurt me a bit..." - My training partner.:new_astha

I would suggest becoming a samurai so I can be your lord. Then I can order you to kill yourself because you lack decision making ability and cannot use the search function.

Now, kindly play a game of hide and go **** yourself.

    Welcome to Bullshido.
