    Yay! More ignorance!

Most of that protein **** is useless. It's good as a suppliment, but won't make or break you.

    Mass gainers are mostly sugar.

Suppliments that you'd otherwise need to eat a nutritional, sensible diet is a better way of saying it.

There was an article in the times last week about how much healthier people are now as compared to a few generations ago. We are all much bigger, not just because of the obesity epidemic, but also because of the ready availabilty of protein (in food, thanks to refrigeration), antibiotics, the lack of chronic lung diseases...

Perhaps one of the reasons behind the continual breaking of records is that there is a much larger sample size of people who are not sick with the flux who can train in a particular sport. The random element of lots of people getting sick is lessened.

Also, an intelligent person in a competative activity will try various means of training, see whether the effect of said training is positive or negative, and act accordingly. Not weight training because a dude you knew hurt his back, or because there have been sucessful people who did not weight train, makes little sense.

I got an effective BW workout out of that. I been with it for over a month. So I can't complain.
