OK, so I went Commie

Picked up this gun last week and I gotta tell you, what a fine little piece of machinery. I could easily keep 7rds 2" @ 30' with little to no effort. No FTF's or FTE's, and it didn't bite my hand, which was the common complaint. I'd heard some good things about this gun, a few bad ones, but for the price, I didn't do too bad. I wouldn't mind getting another one just for shits and giggles.

BTW it's FEG Hungarian PA63 9x18 Makarov

Spoils of war. When your nation runs another to ground and destroys it, you get their weapons. I don't own any Commie weapons at the moment, but that day is coming. I feel the CZ-52 drawing ever nearer.

I am glad to hear that it has decent accuracy. I shot a rental Makarov at a firing range and it shot very high and to the left.

I think that is a CZ 75 or 85 with a tac light, and possibly a photoshoped on bayonette?

The bayonet is not photoshoped, somebody actually modified that pistol to have a knife. I will look for where I found it…

I have a Makarov that I get fantastic groups from. Best $160 gun I'm ever likely to find.

I also recently traded a Springfield XD-9 in and got a CZ-85. I'm much happier with it than I was with the XD. The trigger breaks a lot crisper, and with the Hogue grip I put on it, it feels much better in my hand. (It's also more aesthetically pleasing to me).

My only complaint with the Makarov is the cost of ammunition. I'd shoot it lots more if it were as cheap to shoot as standard 9mm.
