Gain weight. Size matters when skill levels are equal.
That being said, I watch a 150lbs black belt destroy guys who are 250-300lbs all the time. But rolling with that much of a weight difference is dangerous. You can get hurt a lot easier. Always accidental. But it won't matter.
You really want to spar with guys AROUND your size. Within 20lbs or so. But working with really big guys occassionally is definately neccessary. You want to be able to deal with that strength and weight. Hopefully you deal by using technique and skill to keep that weight OFF you. -

If you are over 5'6" or 5'7", you should work on getting weight, in packing up muscles. If you are new to weightlifting, the easiest way is to work on your legs (leg presses, squats)... SAFELY OF COURSE, and in conjuction with good nutrition.
If you 5'5" or shorter, that may be more difficult. Still, 130lbs is a bit too short for an adult male. Either you are slim/skinny by nature, or you have been doing way too much cardio while not eating enough.
Last but not least, don't neglect your cardio while you gain weight. I've seen a lot of people ditching cardio to gain 10lbs, and after the gain, they can barely run on a treadmill for 5 minutes. You don't want to gain weight and then gassing the **** out when rollling.Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

The big two variables that are missing here are 1) his height, and 2) his age. If poo is shorter than 5'5", I would put his max healthy weight around 150... maybe I'm wrong. Also, if he's in his 30's then that makes things a bit difficult. The 20's are the best years to gain muscle/weight.

It's not primarily a question of being healthy or not. If you're at a certain weight then it will be good for you to stay away from guys who are insanely heavier than you. The experience is good, but always rolling with a lot bigger guys WILL get you injured. I know this :P
If he's looking for advice on how to gain weight there's a forum for that too isn't there?More human than human is our motto. -

True. Eventually the question will lean toward that, but it's true. The health and nutrition forums will be better for that type of discussions.

Totally agree with YrKoon. I am a small guy myself and most of my injuries have been accidentally incurred from big guys. My ribs hurt just thinking about it. Until you get considerably better or bigger, it's going to suck. It's going to suck a lot.
Do you have any friends around your size? Try to recruit some people. If you roll with bigger people all of the time, you WILL get hurt. You may even end up giving up your training because of it.
