Really? I'd heard that before but thought it was a total myth. Doesnt seem like that effective way of doing it.

Anyway, to be honest i am sure that there is a good TKD school out there. Look at the odds. Their are THOUSANDS of them, it is against all lawas of proabability that their isnt one or two good ones among them. Admittedly I've never seen one myself (or heard of one)

No, it is for those who do not actually want to take a **** during Sanchin. . . .

    Come here . . . let me introduce you to a thing called shime. . . .

I would like to see anyone try to kick someone off of a moving horse and survive. I doubt you could kick a guy off of a stationary horse. This is worse than the "grap my wrist!" fighting!

However, I do remember hearing that story many years ago. Back then, TKD was an ancient art. I then read a military history of Japan and realized how successful that kicking must have been!

More to you second point, yes I have met a few good TKD--one or two from Korea. It is, again, a problem of popularity and "watering down" for "Lil' Johnny." This can happen to any art.

    Agreed.

No one here can rant about TKD...until I or Mav do.

    We don't.

    Neither should you.
