We actually offer BJJ purple tags too.
Cool I guess!

And we'd offer everyone who holds a black belt a tag, if it weren't for the fact that BJJ is the only art that still has a mostly credible rank structure based on performance and not senority, how many katas you know, etc.
Good point.But..........I've got nothing.I know this is to differentiate from other forums and also to help noobs know who to ask.

But if you look closely, we do have instructor tags, along with pro and amateur fighter tags. Instead of spending 5-10 years doing BJJ, all you have to do is jump in the ring and deport yourself reasonably well a few times.
I did mention the instructor tab earlier.I guess you pereused my comment to fast.

Ah!But what ring are we talking about here.Just amature and MMA?Or does full-contact karate still count these days?

Considering that it's almost impossible to reach any sort of rank in BJJ without successfully performing against resisting opponents, we'll stick to this tag scheme for a while longer I think.
Probably you should. It adds colour while it contrast with the black background.

Perhaps if Boyd were to have access to the proper tools, he could express himself more fully and much of the world's pain and suffering could be wiped out and the children could dance.

This is just one example of what I mean:
