    Thanks.

I'm glad that I didn't step into a ring and have to have a judge tell me if I scored a hit on my opponent or not.

We knew we "scored" when one of us fell down (meaning I fell down).

yeah big balls for posting it.

one thing you want to work on is your punching technique. although i absolutely hate to see people stand bolt upright while throwing bodyshots you can get away with it under KK rules. but what you need to do is put a lot more hip movement into the punches. you watch top KK guys and while they do the same (ugly) punches they really throw their hips into them

Le clonk! But what was up with their kicks? You'd find more power in a fizzy drink!

it seems like that kicking style is very common among FCR fighters. I'd wager they just throw some powerless kicks to cover the kick minimum without wasting too much energy.

That reminds me of one dude that fought in the Kyokushin tourney I entered.

He won one of his matches because the guy he fought KO'd him with an illegle punch to the head. He then recovered (or so the ring doc thought) enough to fight his next match only to be KO'd by his opponent kicking him in the face.

He had to go to the hospital after the tourney if I remember correctly.

In kickboxing there's usually a 90 day suspension if you've been KO'd. It's not really safe to be KO'd and fight again soon afterward.

Anyway, my best advice to you would be to take up muay thai.

Why don't you just start offering crack cocaine while you're at it?
