They are scum, and you are not the only one disgusted.
By the way, I don't think they are friends.

When Bum Fights wasn't deeming enough, here comes Felony Fights! See ex-gang members, murders, thieves, and drug dealers duke it out for cold hard cash.
I not entirely disgusted because this is what high profile Smokers in Atlanta looks like. It just sucks because a lot of these people are so down on their luck this how they can make some much needed scratch.

Look at it in this context.

Actually, some very interesting points have been raised here that should be considered.
Firstly, someone pointed out that some of these people may have had no other option for making money.... not in a profit sense but in getting a few dollars tro survive on. If this is the case then yes, it is very sad but is certainly a mitigating factor.
Secondly, although this has not been mentioned yet, is the voluntary aspect. I've heard people object to the UFC etc on the grounds that it is overly brutal. I have always responded by saying "Hey, they volunteered and they new the rules when they went in for it". I guess the same could be argued here.
My real objection to these guys is that they seem to get a twisted pleasure out of doing harm. Sure, in sport fighting there is a great joy, but i think it is primarily in testing ones skill, competing and hopefully being victorious. And yes, harm is done in the course of these things, but it is not (in the case of most) the source of the joy.
I get the impression from this footage that the primary thrill here is in doing harm to the other person. They also seem to enjoy carrying on when the engagement is clearly over. So I suppose one could say that my objection is primarily to do with the attitude with which they participate.
Heck, I've done serious damage in a fight before, but it was in self defence whilst being pouned by three guys who jumped me when i was walking home one night. Yes, I feel good that I came out on top. No, I do not feel good about the degree of damage done to one of them (I will point out that this was caused by a single blow, not kicking the crap out of him when he was unconscious or anything like that). I don't feel sorry for him either, it was me or them, I got lucky.
I throw the floor open to discussion on these issues.....

Well yeah. I've got no problem with people fighting, but these people are being assholes.
