    Nice watch.

I have a nice Seiko "kenetic", but I quit wearing it about 6 months ago (after 15 years) when i realize that my cell phone displays the time all the time and it is updated (the time that is) via satilite everyday. I always have my cell phone with me except when I train, and I never had my watch with me then either.
People often tell me that I fail to see the gravity of the situation.
I see the gravity, and I say...

Step right up folks and watch me defy gravity!

Figured, archers do the same thing. We just don't have watches. I'm going to make a watch that gives sight marks for archery, and then make billions of dollars.

A comeup is a fast way of ajusting your rifle to idfferent ranges. Marines make extensive use of it. I don't know much about it myself, but Maj. John Plaster goes into great detail about it in his sniper manuals.

Just my $.02 worth...but most of the tactical guys I have been around (to include myself in earlier years operator/Instructor). Don't usually use alot of this stuff. Too costly for the department (civillian and also certain cases lower line military i.e. SRT MP "call out") and and alot of the Upper eschelon guys, you pick the flavor of bad ass GSG9, Spetnaz, NYPD, SF, Delta...they know this stuff flat. This is how they got to be the "Big Dogs in the first place. I do know that this stuff is used, but I am am saying it is not used by the masses. I could be wrong, forgive me if I am, but I do not think so.

But all in all...COOL LOOKING WATCH!!!

    Sincerely,

    LG

I prefer a mil dot reticle w/ a BDC coupled with the range card for adjustments that allows me to aim dead on. Hell using matched ammo you can make a little laminated card that can get taped to the buttstock, go in your pocket or like me in the buttstock pouch. Call me old fashioned too but I don't trust the PDA's in a real life application. If it fails you have nothing if you can't do the math, don't have your round and weapon info committed to memory or don't have a card.

I do hear the PDA's are cool though and have programs that make excellent range cards etc.. Hmmm....
