I predict we will see XMA in the Olympics sometime in future, of course it will be part of the gymnastics program. My favorite quote from youtube

"It looks totally GAY!! But what's worse is, it doesn't even look cool... So XMA can suck my dick! Peace out!"

You guys do realize WHY everyone was screaming? It wasn't the amazingness of his moves per se (Don't get me wrong, he was pretty damned good, but hey I've seen better) but the fact that just about every movement he did was a different street fighter characters move. I took note of obviously the Hadouken, but also there was the Rising Dragon, Guile's leg sweep, Chun Li's super kick finish, and a number of other characters signature moves. Were I a die-hard SF fan, I'd be screaming to when I actually saw a real human pull off some of those moves ;)

The vast knowledge I have thrown away by not playing video games. That clip and kata aren't stupid...I just don't understand it.

No. It's stupid. He's a fucking gymnast doing a floor exercise routine. The only thing he's missing is that fucking ball or twirly flag on a stick.

Given that 'XMA' is a joke as a martial art, the video game moves idea is inspired. Of course, I'm always amused when someone does live-action Mario stuff too. Mildly.

That's the gamer version of speaking in Simpsons quotes via gymnastics.

Although the combat validity of this "kata" was questionable, it was pretty slick, so I give him credit for his ability. But, I think this belongs on "SO you think you can dance?"
