    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Can't spell teacher's first name?

It seems there have been some changes of the Konigun website. There is a different way to view the pictures now. What is interesting is that "Enshi" Saiga has been changed to "Inshi" Saiga. Now, I am just assuming that this is a first name (could possibly be a title?), but find it odd they can't spell the first name of their great ninja master.....:bduh:

Over on MAP they are saying they have identified 'Saija'. They claim he is Tanoue Shinobu, a master craftsman who makes period armor for movies and props. They even claim the pics were taken at a walk through museum where you can see the armor being made.

    Sam,

if Dallas himself said this guy is 'Saija' and it can be proven he is not, can he get in trouble if he continues to file lawsuits because people say he made up his 'style'?

If he claims that people are defaming him by saying that he made up his lineage and he brings Saija into the lawsuit there could be repercussions. I don't want to get too specific here however.

While I believe the MAP stuff here about 99.9%, I also happen to totally distrust the motives of the posters there (many of the same people who've investogated the pics are over in another thread on MAP defending Hatsumi's dodgy background, so we're not talking about a lack of bias). In short: I want to see somebody who isn't an X-Kanner confirming all of this.

If you need refutation of dallas' authenticity, then look no further. I was there in Grenada, MS when dallas made up all this konigun karate crapola. I know the people he trained with, and none of them were named saija, nor were they even Japanese, nor did he travel to Japan to train. Anything specific you're looking for?

And yes, my profile does say that I train in budo taijutsu. I am not, however, a member of any X-kan. I am an equal opportunity objectivist.
