Goddammit. This is making my dyslexia act up. People - real bullets = LARPing.

Err... You might have misunderstood shomewhere along the way. It's a "real" shooting competition with "real" bullets (fired from "real" cartridges, for that matter, I hand load mine). They are however, dressed in costumes.

The actual competition looks as though it would be very interesting. Engaging targets at multiple ranges in scenarios that include everything from "ducking behind a bar" to "mounted on horseback".

As I mentioned earlier though, I just love any excuse to shoot my .44mag...

I did miss that. I thought they were doing historical reinactments with paintballs. Never assume anything. Thanks.

You and Ash should get "all gussied up" in costumes (of either gender I suppose, but you gotta admit frilly dresses would have chuckle value) and come on down.

Maybe if there are enough interested members we can combine a shootout with a throwdown.

    You have any revolvers?

At the KC Mega we had a big shooting session.

I dont own any revolvers, I only LARP as an action movie star and/or the terminator so it's all high falutin black guns for me.

Heh good question. The only military folks I've ever seen carry a Sig are spec ops. Sig's are pretty expensive for general issue, no?
Jesus loves you. I think you're an asshole.

Err.. You'll stay with something that you don't actually have? That's a bit of a non-sequitur, no?

The 226 is very nice. I typically carry my 1911 (vide supra), but I am very fond of the H&K compact as well (this one is .40S&W).

Kimber has a 1911 in 10mm that I'm now considering very seriously.

However, this is getting nearly as far afield as dumbass-chucks...
