When I used to work for "the MAN", they showed us some riot control video using nunchaku that ended up snapping some under nourished hippy's arm. They used the chain around the upper arm as pain compliance and just up and snapped it.

Moral of the story, do not mock police officers with lack of training with intermediary weapons, it can and most likely will **** you up.

I do like the "how do driveby" point in the video. Submachine gun combat from moving vehicles. Are they really trying to kill everyone in the neighborhood?

I wonder if they're allowed to touch men when they arrest them or if they're only allowed to arrest women.

I wonder what style the punches are from - they look deadly. Good use of footwork and weight transfer. I liked the elbow grab defence to the straight-armed upward hammerfist - slick stuff.

Does the footage in this clip show the actual techniques they use or is it just a show that a few of them do when they graduate? Maybe it's all just a show and they are just actors? They can't really train like that, it's just too dumb. The bomb-disarming show would be fun though. Would shouting "BANG!@" half way through it be a bad thing to do?
Straight punches make you go blind. More damage is done to a criminals nervous system when they are struck. Strikes that make you stronger. All this and more systema douchebaggery:

Iran has Kushti Farangi (sp)? but it's mainly a sport and only practised by men. It involves grabbing people and pushing or pulling them quickly over your outstretched foot.
    What am I?:

I am ignorant, thieving, lying, hypocrital, violent and thoroughly self obssessed. I steal from others to make myself look better, only to make the item or information worse.

I go on and on and ON about how brave and strong and brilliant and wealthy I am, but in the end I'm all mouth and no trousers.

That's right children, I'm your average AMERICUNT! and I exemplify AMERICA!:911flag:

Yes, through persistent lack of work and the cultivation of ignorance, he is a true American.

What is interesting is that prior to the revolution, they actually had a pretty serious Judo scene that was really popular with the police force (not the LARPing nuns depicted here).
