There may be cheaper versions of similar design, but I really like not having to replace bags; just dumping the dust into a container and clearing the filters.

I'd like to try one of those newfangled boom sticks.

The TI-92 + (Codename: Voyage) is not spoken of. It's a myth, something high school math teachers tell their students so that they can sleep at night...

Ohh, and Consumer Reports recommends the Eureka Boss Smart Vac Ultra 4870 -$140

Damn! is that an Elcan? Cha-Ching!

Nice scope though, how do you like it?

Also is it issued? or personal? Either way, how do you like it compared to the ACOG?

Issued. I actually found an elcan scope that someone lost in the field, have to admit I was pretty tempted to just keep it but I turned it in and saved some dude $400.

I find the scope is great for shooting on the range but i don't like it in built up areas or the woods. It's great having an instant optical advantage but I don't like the tunnel vision that comes with it. A lot of guys are taking it off and just using their emergency back up sight (i'll try and get a pic of em). I've never got my hands on an ACOG. Are they pretty good?

From what I've tried, usually they are other peoples, they too are pricey, but really nice.

Acog = Elcan, I guess if you were long distance shooting it'd be great, but almost everyone uses the Aimpoint M2 or a Eotech, something red dot instead of having the tunnel vision with a scope. Are you talking about the flip up rear sights?

I bet those guys would love a red dot instead.

    Cool rifle too.
