Once you build up a small repertoire of techniques, you'll get a better feel for how grappling works. My first few lessons I just stood there thinking "what do I do?"
After a while you'll start to feel your own balance and then the other guy's balance, so you can kind of tell what you need to do from there. -

My first lesson was similiar and while we were rolling towards the end of class i kept thinking to myself after tapping mutliple times and generally being dominated, what has wing tsun seriously taught me why doesn't the deadly anti-grapple work.
It was a reality check, and now i regret the last couple of years that i have wasted in wing tsun.
