    Initially he probably wont make any money off it and will lose money from spending hosting fees for the site and like you said schools that don't have free trials. But if he's very very lucky the site can become large enough that it'll get the attention of sponsers which will help cover the costs.

    I'm thinking it might even be better to create more of a RateMyProfessor type site 'RateMyDojo' and that will grow faster and be able to cover the US instead of just LI since it'll rely on other user's reviews and ratings rather than it being just him.

    Hopefully he has another job to bring in money though.

    You also have potential legal fees for slander, cross challenges against your credentials - how are you qualified to make these evaluations.

    If they are completely from a new persons perspective? If so, can you be subjective enough and not let your MA experience cloud the review?

    i think a better idea would be to just have a website where people can post reviews of MA schools, with a written review and a star rating. That way it serves as a resource for other people and it's easier for you. include the guidelines about cost and training routine and whatnot, but let current and former students of the schools write the reviews and rate their own schools.
