It depends where you go, but most classes I've been to aren't all that tough. It's not like every hobbiest muay thai class is gonna be like training in Thailand.

No matter how good I think I am training I always find there's something more physical and harder I could be doing.

    It's very depressing.

I need to find some of that ****.

All of our classes are a way more mellow than what was described above. Unless someone is training for a fight...THEN IT IS EXTREME.

I can't imagine that I will ever be able to do any of those things...

It is frustrating indeed. BTW, where I do judo, the bb teens do rope climbing on a regular basis before going to tourneys. Just looking at them make me feel so fucking old :dead:

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Ha...I just went to the link you provided...I have actually met some of the people there.

Linda Langerak fought in my city at an all female MMA event. One of her corner men appeared to be Joey de Los Reyes. I didn't know them but the following day Mrs. Praxx and I set and talked with them at a seperate female "grappling only" tournament.

Here I am in my seat, right behind their corner...

It's a cool place. Very MMA orientated with quite a few professional fighters training out of there. They definitely gear it towards the pro's/ serious competitors though. I am just going to try and keep up and probably won't be able to go there more than once a week.

If I stick with it there I would like to alternate between BJJ and MT.

We'll see how the old back holds up.

Not going to quite Goju-Jitsu though
