Well, those will most definately take out the room along with its inhabitants.

Reminds me of an old joke about the Services:
If you ask the military to secure a building....
The Marine Corps will surround it and lay down a withering field of fire.
The Navy will turn off the lights and lock the door.
The Army will put up a fence and post a guard.
The Air Force will take out a three year lease with an option to buy.

i never did understand the reasoning behind the lip on the barrel exit. what's up with that?
Thats actually so you can put rifle grenades on the end of the barrel and fire them. They have to be cut like that.
The sight is a rifle grenade sight as well, adjustable from 200m to 1000m (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 10)

I assumed since I not familiar with ar or ak that the lip caused the bullet to "trip" stop its forward projection and rotate more like a knife being thrown. Couldn't really find a better way to explain that at the time. But I was wrong.

Bullets are spun in the barrel by the riflings in order to make them aerodynamic and more accurate. Think football.
I swear we should have gun safety/knowledge as a part of public school cirriculum.

Ok, so which is it? GuiltySpark's explanation about the grenades? Or the gas exhaust used to keep the barrel down?

I'm asking around a little bit and I'm getting both answers.
