I saw the kid on morning telly the other week.
He was wearing a ... red Gi ... for the interview.
Looks like he wears it all the time.
They even did a telly reconstruction ;
Tall bad-guy in black balaclava looms over the kid ...
"mmble gmm phn mmbl"
Kid waves his floppy hand near mugger's face.
Mugger bends over "Oww my nose!" Yes, really.
Kid runs off.

At no time did the kid say he karate-chopped the guy.
He never mentioned a broken nose.
I think he said something like "I cracked him one on the nose".

I suspect most of the story is bull, especially the balaclava bit.
If this stupid kid did hit some fella on the nose you can BET he didn't
use any of his super-krotty-red-Gi junk.

hi to all the people who commented on this page and this story. if your wondering why theres been a comment on it now its because im Jake Oliver. a friend typed my name in on google and this came up. so im going to set a few things staight.
1. this is not bull ****. this really happened i was walking my friend home and wanted to get home quick so i took a short cut. at that point is when some one came out these bushs and told me to hand the phone over.
2. im still pissed off about ths story as nothing was done about it. the ctv cams which covered the hold bit wherre it happened were broke and got nothing. the stuff i was wearing (which were a top and shorts) not a gee. were taken by the police but had nothing on them.
3. the papers made a lot of this story up. there was no blood. i did not say i broke his nose. that was also added . as police said it was suppested to have been. i was not 4 f 10 i was 5f 7 or 8. im a tall kid. and i never wanted to do any off the stuff on tv or with the papers. they just wont leave me alone. so i did it to get them off my door step every day.

im now 17 and doing a plumbing apptiship. i dont do karate or kickboxing any more. i got my black belt and when i went to wka i got to the semi finals. and won brozne. sorry to bring this back up but read it and just had to make a accont and comment.

As far as the broken nose part goes, it's really not that hard to break a nose any small direct force and crunch it's broke. Remember a nose is just cartilage theres not much to it, so as far as that part I don't see it being too far fetched. Now for the rest who nose lol.
