TBK are you going core or premium? My guess is that the premium's will be as rare as hen's teeth at the beginning.
Overstock.com is guaranteeing the lowest price online, but not quantity.

I'm going for the premium system after they release the updated edition of MGS4 and not a moment sooner. MGS just won't be the same without a rumble feature though...

Too much for too little.
If it helps they are saying that it will cost 499 and 599 for basic and AWSOME respectively.... I am concerned for Sony's sake that this system will flop due to too high of a price. They are running a risk of loseing their 3rd party support to the 360.
Just my thoughts

Price is relative to value. If the PS 3 is way better than the 360, people will pay for it.

The reason most retailers aren't doing preorders (like Gamestop, where I work at), is that Sony hasn't released production numbers yet, so retailers have no idea how many reservations they can take. Remember the fiasco with 360 shortages? That was because retailers took reservations without bothering to wait on the numbers from the initial production run."Keep a sharp knife, shiny boots and be on time."

I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

IGN talked about "consistent quality of the X360 games", and a member of GameTrailers said "the games look exactly the same" when comparing the PS3's to X360's.
One would also notice Kaz Hirai's focus on the PSP @ the E3 Press Conference ("It's Ridge Racer! Riiidge Racer!").
Is this the cheaper version?
