I thought HL2 was kind of lacking. Instead of being a game, it was a test of how far they can push their engine. The whole boat racer part and the dune buggy part were boring as hell. The zombie town was pretty cool, but the 1st game is a lot scarier.

I found the first hour or so of "Fields of the Dead" for XBox to be refreshingly creepy. Especially the part where you had to walk through the vision restricting weeds...I was spamming that happy hammer like there was no tomorrow!

That doesn't change my mind that it sucked and bored the **** out of me for 2 hours. I did actually watch the whole thing before bitching.

Pfft, HL2 overall was pretty crappy and definitely not scary. (Well, from what I remember.)

However, movies can be scary to one extent or another. Alien was a decent scary one, Exorcism another. But I won't defend them too strongly because I don't want to deal with the "oh noes Tom, those moveez wur funn1 and st00pid and n0t scary at all". (Kind of like what I just did above).

But over the years there have been those rare, good, horror movies that get your pulse going.

The Omen was not one of them.

It was just really, really boring and not worth the $5-15.

Also, F.E.A.R pwned HL2 in terms of scariness. The beginning of Doom 3 was also decent. But it went downhill.

The remake of night of the living dead, the remake of dawn of the dead, both were awesome.

    Agreed.

But I like just about anything involving zombies and gore.
