    The Omen

Do not go see this movie. It's really, really not scary.

****! My wife was looking forward to it.
People often tell me that I fail to see the gravity of the situation.
I see the gravity, and I say...

Step right up folks and watch me defy gravity!

like any movie is scary once you are over 10? i thought it was ok. bit slow in places but some scenes were great, like when the priest is running for his ****.

I don't know, Nacho Libre looks pretty scary. So does any leonardo dicaprio movie, the fact that that ***** is making movies is enough to frighten anybody.

Seriously though. This movie is going to suck, it is a remake, and by definition remakes always suck. Just see the original.

First time i saw the commercial for the movie i knew it would probably suck. I'll wait for it to come out on HBO or Showtime.

The original wasn't that scary either

No but the original was a decent movie at least.

Horror movies resort to jokes and humor to keep the plot going now. Thats why when an original and unusual movie like saw comes out that doesn't do that, it is refresshing.

Hellraiser is probably my favorite horror series, it is like the star wars (original 3 only) or indiana jones of horror (the original ones, not the crap that barker had nothing to do with that they keep churning out).

I remember thinking the whole time "are you serious?" How the **** are you going to scare people with onlyloud noises and obvious scares during lulls ( the dog in the cemetary; the nanny at the end) without any real tension?

The original sucked, so I'm not even going to bother with it at all.

Movies stopped being scary the second Friday the 13th was released for NES. Video games own movies 100 times over in terms of scariness, since you're actively participating in the game, instead of just passively watching stupid people get scared.
