    Introduction and a question

Hi guys. I am a true keyboard warrior, a complete nerd that has found out that those that considered themselves above fighting will usually still get creamed by those who don't. I have begun training in BJJ, and after seven months, have earned a single stripe above the white belt. Not sure if I'm going to keep going. My question is this. What do you ppl advise for someone with a complete lack of athleticism, such as me? How does a guy like me attain some level of competence in BJJ despite never having excelled at a sport in my life? Your answers will be appreciated.

The less athletic you are, the more technical you have to be. Take notes of everything you're taught in class, and go over them when you have a spare minute.

You will excel in anything you really enjoy. If you enjoy bjj, keep at it, your body will catch up.

I'm very slow and meticulous when I roll. Sure my technique has to be better, but I still do fine against the super muscular werewrestlers I encounter.
