Weird.
At first I thought I was seeing the takedown, and then an instant replay, but it appears to be 2 seperate ones.
The first time, he performs the takedown and is in the guys guard.
The second time, he does the thing, but then has the guys back.

Pretty much a osoto gari from a left-handed position. I like the fact Misaki just went for it. As Cullion said, that throw is bound to exist in other arts by different names, it just happens most people would associate it with judo.
Me likey clippie!!!
*** EDIT ***
You need to watch it a couple of times. At first, it's quite fast - watch it, and wait until you hear "nice takedown!". At that point, there is a repetion of the same throw in slow-mo... still fast for slow-mo, but the throw is much clear to see at that point.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

it's much looser than an osotogari, but I guess it works the same way.

edit: the clip should be two different throws in sequence. No slo-mo.52 blocks documentary: arrived

Misaki's 'taichi' takedown - good or not?
