    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Is UFC just a commercialized form of martial arts?

I'm not well versed on martial arts at all, but I enjoy watching UFC fights and any deviations of it like TUF. Who doesn't like to see people getting hurt? Anyway some 'martial art snobs' make me feel like I am a simpleton for liking UFC. Is it the equivalent to watching something like WWE but without the fights being scripted?

So, is UFC just a commercialized form of martial arts? And what is a better outlet?

    I miss worded it then....

Is UFC just a commercialized venue for MMA fights?

What I am trying to figure out is if UFC is perceived as too commercialized as if your 'selling out', and/or are there better outlets or 'venues' to watch MMA fights........

The UFC isn't a form of martial arts. It's a fighting venue.

Well, I suppose Pride FC would be considered better by a good amount of folks, but other than that not so much.

    Duh, yes.

All fights that you see in a ring are about money.

Have you seen a MMA fight that wasn't commercialized?

Let me guess, these snobs don't do hard sparring and probably do a martial art that consists of only forms or worse.... chambered kicks...
