    FutureWeapons

Hey all of you gun lovers. I hope you guys already know but if you don't there is a show on Discovery Channel and Military Channel called, "FutureWeapons."

"Just how smart and lethal are the weapons of tomorrow? In FutureWeapons, former Navy SEAL Richard "Mack" Machowicz goes in search of the latest, cleverest and most terrifying technology already reaching out to dominate the battlefields of the 21st century..."

I watched a couple of episodes a few hours ago, interesting stuff. I believe someone brought up the name "Metal Storm" referring to the gun that can "fire a million rounds a minute." I remember bringing up the thread "SMAW-NE" - 'Thermobaric Weapons.' Both weapons were talked about on the show along with many others. Some pretty cool stuff, so anyways if you get a chance I suggest watching an episode or two.

Don't like the weapons don't like the host. I guess I was spoiled from Mail Call.

I hope they some day name a gun "the BFG".

That thing is a classic legend.

    Panzer Howitzer 2000

    Corner Shot 40

    Metal Storm

    Pictures taken from http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/fu...oto/photo.html

Figured it was picture time, maybe seeing a couple of the guns will give people the motivation to click on the link and read about them. For those who don't already know, of course.

P.S. That was only 3 out of 11.

    the future is now

Okay I'm sure you are all going to call BULL ****!

But, in my job I built a really cool animation on the CBU 97. (the future is now in that case) I do the training material for the Air Force at the B-1 bomber "school house".
This is NOT my video http://youtube.com/watch?v=ua3nLmE7Kow&search=sensor
but it is a cool video.

My video is clearer, and has more detail, but it is only on the mil net, so I can't post a link to it.

AND.... (this is total coincidence) my best friend's little brother was the lead scientist on the MOAB Bomb. He has two or three doctorates. I haven't seen him since he was in high school.

That's a pretty cool video to see after looking at this picture.

And just because you mentioned it I want to show a picture of it to.

    MOAB

Cool stuff. I think they show alot more on it in the episode.
