These are brazilian sources. This sounds like they are trying to bait Saku into a fight.

It just seems silly right now. Saku seems to have moved on with that part of his life it would make a great final chapter in his biography, but it just doesn't have an air about it.

This is obviously a K-1 promotion. Perhaps for the New Years Show on TBS.

Unfortunately, K-1 has in the past paid overbudget fighters to interview an use their names for PR purposes. We never did get to see Tyson vs. Sapp and the main reason was that their was never a plan to have the two fight. Tyson's contract was and is just for PR and "What if?" matchups. It worked very well with Tyson, so I don't see why K-1 would back off the same strategy with Rickson. Fans in general can be pretty stupid.

It's not true. The article was about Saku and why he left Pride. They said "How did they afford Saku and what would make him leave? Maybe they will announce a fight between Saku and Rickson which would get a lot of money..." They didn't even start the rumor. Some "internet lameass" did.

Thanks Honor. I try to avoid counterfactual matchups, but once in a while I get lured in.

There is a big difference between "would be cool" and "will be cool".

Despite his age...can Rickson still do cool stuff? I TALKED(not practiced) with one of his students. Visually, he was in impressive physical condition, and seemed like a guy with a powerful mind set(SEEMED)

Im sure rickson is badass, maybe he can still have a chance at glory?

I posted something like that before....before i really knew of brazillian fight culture and saw it as a barbaric act, but once i learned the background of this...wasn't so bad.

I would be excited to see this and would mark out like a little bitch on christmas.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.
