Conditioning. Lots and lots of conditioning, I, fortunately, have not had to deal with such a long interruption, so you'll probably get sick of it before you can get back to training.
Seriously though, post what city you're in. Unless you live in the middle of a cornfield we can probably help you find something. -

Lift weights, improve your cardio. Boring as ****, but always useful. I wouldn't mind the kung fu school if they spar, even if there is junk on the side. Where on Earth do you live?

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

Replace cornfield with potato field and you've got it. I had to buy a boat to be able to travel even remotely close to civilisation.
I forgot to mention the TKD school where we have a guy running around in a wife beater screaming, "YOU SHOULD CHANGE MARTIAL ART, LOL. HEEEYAAAAAAAAA!"
The kung fu school is ok, I've been there for six years. It's just I'm being pushed to black sash and that requires another form. I know eight all ready and I really don't want to learn another. Plus the instructor has all ready mentioned he'd like to see me teach kung fu in Toronto when I move. But really, no fucking way... I still have too much to learn and I plan on taking MMA when I get there.
And yeah, the conditioning should be done. All I'm doing is sitting around getting fat, it's kind of depressing.
Oh, and the closest cities I live to is saint john and fredericton. It takes about an hour and a half to get to both.Last edited by HearWa; 6/02/2006 6:38pm at .

I have numerous excellent martial art schools around me.
And a herniated disc in my neck that might cripple me or cause me to ****/piss my pants uncontrollably for the rest of my life if it bulges a few mm further than it already does.
I'm doing yoga. Find an alternate activity that appeals to you and is available, and pursue it to excellence. -

Unfortunately excellence cannot be attained in four months. That really sucks for you though, I hope everything works out in your favor man.
I do have a video game I plan on developing though so that should help me pass the time. It's a shitty testosterone outlet, though. :O -
I am a Ninja bitches!! Deal with it

How do you deal with not being able to train?
