Brooklyn: New York Integrated Martial Arts Academy - McDojo?

I just wanted to be sure this MA academy isn't a McDojo. The link is...http://nimajkd.com/HOME.html. Thanks.

What malarkey? Tiered pricing = run the **** away. They may provide good training, but tiered pricing is one of the first signs of a McDojo.

Unless, of course, you just WANT to shell out $150 a month for three classes a week.

What's tiered pricing? And by the way, how much SHOULD it cost? Right now, they have it as 99 dollars a month, two classes a week. And also, I live in NYC...so prices may be higher.

Looking at that website, sarcasm and "malarkey" are entirely appropriate.

What are you interested in training? Punching, kicking, standup grappling, ground grappling, etc.?

There are a lot of guys from NYC that post in here, and I'm sure they would all recommend a school if you gave them an idea of the style you were interested in.
You might want to post a thread in newbietown with a title like "Looking for (insert martial art here) in NYC".
Where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence.
