    Yeh? did he beat someones ass with that technique? Certainly doing kung fu and being able to fight are not mutually exclusive, but that doesnt mean that they're closely related either.

    Here we have a kung fu person referring to kung fu and san shou as seperate practices and yet I've been recently informed that only muay thai people do that.

    I never claimed that San Shou wasn't an adapted form of Kung Fu. Obviously it is. You won't see San Shou fighters doing a lot of **** that is taught in traditional Kung Fu. That doesn't change the fact that their moves are all derived from Kung Fu and that Kung Fu is the foundation upon which the style is built.

    Yes and JJJ is the far removed foundation on which BJJ is built, to bad JJJ sucks.

    Well of course not. But the technique he used IS a Kung Fu technique. As are most of his techniques.
