Freestyle Jiu Jitsu? What exactly is it?

I know that an MMA gym by me teaches it. I know that pro fighter Jeremy Horn uses it, but what exactly is it? Is it the same as BJJ just with a different name? How is it different then BJJ? Is there anything intergrated into it to make it "Freestyle"?

Generally it's Jiujitsu-like grappling without a BJJ lineage. For example: the Jacksons team where Diego Sanchez trains. It's a mixed bag as to whether or not a "freestyle jujitsu" school is any good.

Look at their fight team is all I can tell you.
