Schools in the Phoenix, AZ area.

It looks like I’ll be moving to AZ later this year, so I’m curious about any good schools in the Phoenix area.

It looks like a pretty good facility and I’m very interested in Judo.

there's a place in scottsdale called "scottsdale martial arts center" where a friend of mine heads the "JKD" program. It might be worth looking into if it's closer to your area.

Here's where I train: www.zeebjj.net. I take it you're not in Phoenix today, ' cause we have a fight club session tonight at 7 p.m.

There are several other good schools in the area, and since the valley is so large it will kind of depend on where you'll be living. Do you have any idea where that will be?

I'll be near Avondale most likely. I don't mind a little drive though. Right now I have about a 30 minute drive to where I train anyways.

That's pretty far west and there's not a whole lot out there yet because it's still developing. My instructor lives out there so the commute is doable to our gym. Anyway, here's a pretty good list of everything worth mentioning in the valley:
