What's wrong with that? I saw a guy with his head on fire, riding fast on a motorcycle and fucking people and things up.

    That's the essence of GR
There's no choice but to confront you, to engage you, to erase you. I've gone to great lengths to expand my threshold of pain. I will use my mistakes against you. There's no other choice.

nicholas cage seems like a really odd choice for the role.

    didn't look too bad.

I'll wait to see the movie.

Even though a "comic movie" might suck it is still better than 99% of the crap that has come out in the last 5 years. Hollywood isn't putting out new and original ideas, thats why there is such a desire to convert things from a different medium, more than ever before.

Before they only had the top-top selling comic characters getting movies, conan, superman, batman, x men. but now its like everyone gets a movie. Hollywood is hard up for originality. Comics are stories that have a fan base and most of the basic storyline of the character has been around for decades.

Nicholas cage does seem wierd, but I think they were going for that "stuntman-type" reputation for the character. I don't know much about ghost rider though. They are putting more and more famous people as comic characters for "star power" to sell the movie- I think.

thats cool, i always liked the comic and a movie about motorcyles and explosions is great in my book (yeah i'm that shallow). not sure about nicolas cage though, bhaa.

thats nothing compared to the real ghost rider though. ever seen this dude? he lives in sweden and makes real life outlaw to-hell-and-back chase films on his crotch-rockets. he is one of the most skilled road riders i have ever seen. i orded his 1st dvd when it came out a few years back, it is sick. he pulls off **** on his bikes that is right on the edge. they are porn video quality and way cool.

here is a link to original trailer i found on google vids: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...&q=ghost+rider

also worth checking out to witness just how fast and nimble modern sportbikes are if you havent riden one.

here he is just fucking w/ the police:

    here is 208mph / 336 kph on a hayabusa:

sorry to derail thread but **** hollywood and niclas cage.:thefinger
