Any time I'm depressed, I just tell the elementary school class at the dojang that its numchuck day.

I laugh so hard my brain shoots out my nose.

Nothing is better than a room full of brats hitting themselves in the head with numchucks.

that's very true. I've never laughed so hard as the day my brother first picked up the 'chucks.

Kuksool is what you get when you mix Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu with Shippalgi, Korean kung fu.

The forms and weapons of Kuksool are based off of Korean kung fu style movements, however, the forms themselves are particular to Kuksool itself, and not found in Shipppalgi.

Things that are better than a room full of brats hitting themselves in the head with nanchakus:

    Hitting each other with nanchakus

Shin kicking themselves in the head and face (I have a couple young students that are flexible enough to do this and have done it more than once each- friggin' hilarious)

Adult students touching my knives or swords and running their fingers across the edge as they ask, "is this sharp?" I then take great pleasure in watching the blood and shocked look on their faces.

Newbie students that think they have "mastered" certain techniques and try them without supervision and break fingers, toes, hands, feet, or just lay in a bloody, sniveling pile on the floor.

Students coming to weapons class thinking it's all about showboating and flash, then I say, "okay, let's spar." Again, the shock and horror on their faces is priceless.

I'll come up with more later...
