Right on. Interesting fight. Mad props for the TKD guy. Of course, you understand that no one has ever said TKD guys NEVER win, or that MT guys never lose. Yes, this one TKD guy beat that one MT guy. But that doesn't all of a sudden make TKD a greater, or even equivalent art. You have to look at the whole picture, and that whole picture will show a hell of a lot fights won by MT guys than TKD guys.
But it just goes to show something most everyone here already knows.... the fight is won by the fighter, not the style.Click To Get My Free Training Newsletter... Do It NOW!

that was not a muay thai fighter. There was a thread on mma.tv about this and all agreed that the muay thai guy was set up to make tae kwon do look good and probably never trained muay thai. A real muay thai guy would have clinched and kneed the hell of the tkd dude or would have at least kept his hands up and covered up from those teolographed high kicks all aimed at head.

well he did throw some kicks at ribs or would use a faint kick, but you would think after a couple of those the muay thai guy would have caught on and realised the tkd guy did the same combo over and over and the mt guy never tried anything offensive. Not to mention the tkd guy fell almost after every combo by overextending his body and if the mt guy stood and absorbed it the tkd guy would have ben on ground while the mt guy was waiting for him to get up.
