Excellent work, I miss doing randori and what not. We did some excercises the other day, and I kept getting yelled at to not use the jui jitsu. So hard to retrain/cross train.

What did you train in before? Do you not spar in the style you do now? Why are you still doing it?

BTW Ronin, is there any news on the release date of the "blueprint?"
-I have no idea.

I need to update my profile, I am currently studying Wah Lum Kung Fu. We do spare, but I have been asked to hold off on the locks, throws and take downs with most of the class untill there up to that level (lot of the class are fairly new to the martial arts and what not, but I still slip in a throw or lock here and there :D ). We practice on hard wood floors and what not and several peoples falling ability is limited due to them being brittle and not accustomed to it, coming from many of the tae kwon do schools in the area. The school I was in losed down due to lack attendance. It wasnt flashy enough, the kicks werent high and mighty, oh and we would drop people on there faces within the first couple of classes. I have found a lot "adults" in the area dont like to be submitted that or submitted period.

How about giving BJJ a try? Rob Kahn teaches in Tampa. If you're closer to Clearwater, you could always give Eduardo de Lima's school a try.

You'd be getting excellent instruction at either school. Just drop by for a class at either school (or both), and see if you like it.

I hadnt realized there was a school there. I had seen a few signs a while back but I never saw the school. There about a 40 minute drive for me from home and work. Last class is at 9 by the looks of it. I will have to follow up with them. thanks for the info.

Where do you see that? I just looked at both schools' websites, and neither one has a class that starts at 9.
