Weren't the later AKM models all made without wood furniture? That would make Phrost's pretty avant-garde in terms of the AK's evolution.

Wood looks nicer tho.

But seriously, I finally finished the tweaks to my Romanian AK. Yes, I know that removing the wood furniture sucks the soul out of the weapon, but I like black better.

I think only VEPR models are made with a synthetic stock, handguard, and pistol grip.. Although im not sure.

Black furniture is better looking than wood, no doubt but I'm sorry though, the stock looks f-ing horrible on it.

It is. To me, a 6-position stock is more practical than a folding one. I'm not going to be climbing in and out of vehicles with the gun, and can't ever see myself firing it without lifting the stock to my shoulder.

So if it doesn't fit the AK "theme" *shrug*.
