Maybe Toshiro Mifune is teaching how to be a roving, scruffy, earthy and cool anti-hero:5dunce:

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

Far be it from me to judge based solely upon the quality of their ad copy, but this doth not bode well.
-It claims to be a "complete" system for self-defense. As no such thing exists, I am immediately skeptical.
- Their foundations are ostensibly integrity, kindness, goodness and patience. This is not what should be the basisi of a +Self-defense" program. It sounds like a wonderful "self-improvement" program, though. I would feel better if their foundations were: Training, conditioning, pressure testing, and pain threshold.
- they proclaim an aikijujutsu, karate jutsu and (japanese) jujitsu basis. None of these are styles particularly reknowned for their practical methods and training; or at least not in modern times.
-This operation appears to be entirely commercial in nature. Which I don't like. I smell LARPing. And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".
