Of course, the savateurs have the excuse that their fast, snappy kicks are supposed to be delivering sturdy boots to painful places, and their handwork is derived from boxing. So, it's pretty much what TKD should be and isn't.
THAT is why i wear steel toed boots.

Nah, I'm not an idiot. And it looks similiar to TKD in my eyes due to speedy snap kicks rather than chambered kicks from MT. And thanks for keeping open eyes instead of immediately flaming because TKD is listed dumbass =p

Edit: Savate kicks resembles alot more to TKD rather than MT kicks in my eyes. I didn't see hardly any chambering if at all. Note that I'm not stating TKD is good just mechanics look similiar.

I wouldn't call MT kicks "chambered" kicks.

    I don't know.

I don't know what you mean by "chambered", but as far as I know, MT kicks are trhown fast from the place where you have your feet.

    You do not "chamber" them.

Speaking as former TKD'er, TKD chambers its kicks.

their kicks have no power, less power then WTF sparrers, way less. Kicks are harder to .
land than punches so when you through a kick it has to be hard. doesnt make sense
and about chambering kicks, if you kick with your front foot you have to chamber your kick a little bit to get power, but i dont like front leg round houses. if you round house with your back leg you shouldnt have to chamber at all. as far as side kicks in TKD you chamber them a little bit to gain power. front kicks are the same thing.

I'm no human movements expert and my knowledge of savate history is a bit sketchy, but aren't the "whipping" motions to allow more power to be generated with less muscular effort?
    What am I?:

I am ignorant, thieving, lying, hypocrital, violent and thoroughly self obssessed. I steal from others to make myself look better, only to make the item or information worse.

I go on and on and ON about how brave and strong and brilliant and wealthy I am, but in the end I'm all mouth and no trousers.

That's right children, I'm your average AMERICUNT! and I exemplify AMERICA!:911flag:

Yes, through persistent lack of work and the cultivation of ignorance, he is a true American.
