This website is still crap, as is the organization.
In the FAQ:

Q:I have been at my rank for years, how do I advance to the next rank?

A:Check out the guide lines for time between Black Belt ranks. If you have trained the number of years stated. Then print and fill out the AFJ Rank Advancement.

One example. So all you have to do to get your next rank is to train the number of years listed on their site. Oh, and you require no proof of even that non-requirement. Its all based on honor.

Anyone with membership in that org, please rip it up, its a disgrace to martial artists.

As far as Vanessa Bush goes, she may be legit, I have no idea who she is one way or another. But to be on an advisory board that as said before, admits to needing no proof of anything, an org that hands out rank, well legit or not that is a disgrace imo.

That was well said. AFJ recognizes earned rank from other schools and does not teach any art in particular. They also do not have annual dues only a once per lifetime fee.

What is the point of this organization then? Why do you need an org to recognize rank they did not give out, nor that they require proof of?
