    Free jujitsu black belt

Hello everyone , i dont know if this website has been mentioned here before , but here it goes just in case : www.amfedjujitsu.com , their home training section doesnt even require the people to test by video , pretty much the people buys the rank when he/she "feels ready". Oh and the jujitsu style is one of those extinct ones. :5blindfol

....wait, this is newbie town right.......oh well.

The AFJ, like the AJJF, to my knowledge, does not award rank they merely recognize rank. Meaning you train at your present school and are awarded rank under your present instructor and you can submit your application to the AJF or AJJF and receive a super-cool piece of paper with Japanese writing and your name on it and a cool patch to sew on to your forehead so everyone knows you paid your yearly fees.

IMO it is simply a marketing tool to help a schools name get out there in more forums and get more business. This isn't good or bad IMO, it just is.

True , they recognize legitimate ranks , but in their yoshin ryu jujitsu section which is the style that Mr. Moore teaches , he has a home study course too of it and thats where people dont even have to test for their ranks and they can achieve black belt like that.

Does it come with the 'balls' to wear it on the mat at a BJJ school? I think that's the true messure of any school, the confidence to wander into a local club with rank in hand and represent.

PS - I'm never shy about breaking out my Kenpo Yellow Belt!

I wonder if I could get a black belt in boxing.
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

This AFJ yoshin ryu jujitsu thing reminds me of the chief roman's buy a black belt thing. Difference is that Mr. Moore seems to keep it more well hidden but he uses that same approach about honor and people's own responsability toward their own rank advancement to black belt etc. , lol.
