Karl Tanswell Interview
Karl Tanswell, UK Regional Director for SBG, answers questions about how he got started in martial arts, how he got into SBG, how the STAB knife defense system was created, why knife dueling is ridiculous and how his Tourettes got him to stab a Systema guy at a demonstration.
That story with the systema knife guy is hilarious! The point is...don't invite anyone from the audience to demonstrate on!
On a more serious note...what's his background?
PS - I once "fought" a guy with a pocketknife and I had a pocketknife too. It was one of the dumbest things I can remember. Two dumbasses trying to cut one another from the strangest distance you can imagine, with the strangest techniques in tow...****, I remember being incredibly afraid of getting cut and it seems he was too.He got cut in his hand and ran out of the train and I was shaking all the way to my house. But hey, just to show that knife on knife still happens, although is dumb as hell! But he still has a point!:dog:
It's a good, funny interview, but why exactly is this here?
What is it's pertinence to BJJ/Grappling other than yet another repetition of the aliveness message?

Reason: This is why.
We're posting all the good articles here until they make it to the front page.
