I love being shut-up by Khun Kao!

I've fought on Lane's cards before. I guess he changed sanctioning bodies again. He used to not allow elbows to the face.

    From that same series.

I've never been to Atlanta to actually SEE his MuayThai events, though I have met Lane in person. When he was promoting USMTA bouts in Atlanta, elbows to the head were allowed. The fighters were simply required to wear elbow pads. I've seen photos and videos to back this up.

LOL! Thanks for having a sense of humor about it. It was all in good fun, of course!

Me and Kat moved a little over two weeks ago. We're now training with Manu Ntoh at Alliance.

Cool choice of trainers. Why the move? School? Work? (or none-of-my-business, LOL)

our old gym wasn't supportive towards our fight careers and we wanted better training, some personal reasons, change of scenery, end of lease, plus there's no local fights in Tennessee whereas Atlanta is a kickboxing/MMA hotspot. Training at Alliance seemed like a good choice.

That's cool! Best of luck to you both! Hopefully we'll catch up with each other someday at some East Coast shows! Keep your eyes out for events a little further up North...

Thank you all again for the helpful advice. Kat and Kid Spatula, How long have you two been doing Muay Thai/Boxing? I totally think it is cool you are out there putting it on the line. My instructor and I worked on a body shot counter to a right cross last night. Seems like it would work, I just have to be patient, I am not very good at this but I am willing to put in the time.
It is a blast! I must bruise easily, caught another small shiner letting a jab get through...
