    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    What is your style

What type of a striker would you consider yourself?

Are you a complete Tyson wannabe thats constantly bobbing and weaving, trying to slip the punches and get inside your opponent or are you the type of a fighter that likes to stay on the outside...jab and counterpunch? Perhaps standing completely straight all the time in the Muay Thai stance.

    Discuss.

When I'm fighting folks that I know can take a punch, I'm as Ronin put it, a scrapper. I get inside, take their best shots, and dish out what I can. I tend to hit harder than they do. My favorite tactics include full on powerpunches when they have their gloves up to block, and then chasing them with hooks while they're off balance.

Against new folks or guys I have a serious weight advantage on, I'm an outfighter, picking rondhouse kicks and lazy jabs where I need to, and counter punches where applicable.

I like to get in close, see the dental work kind of close, and throw short elbows and strikes. Surprises people the first time I fight them, since I have some decent reach and I look like the kind of guy that would rather slug it out with hooks. Nothing more destructive than elbows and knees, though, in my book.

Counter Punching. Nothing better then hitting someone in the face in the middle of 'their game'.

i just make them eat my jab or leg kicks, use them to set up my right cross or left round house.

I tend to counter punch alot when sparring noobs etc.

With other people I tend to like to get in close and work with hooks, shovel hooks uppercuts and knees.

The fighters I hate the most are fast guys with good reach and good defensive footwork.

kicks. kicks and kicks and kicks then some knees then some kicks and some kicks for good measure. punching is for bitches. the only punches i use are ones that look cool like leaping overhands (think Mike Zambidis) or step over punches (think Ray Sefo when he fucking murdered Lebanner- 12 stitches inside lebanners mouth from that punch) although if people bumrush me im happy to brawl. I'm a big fan of moving forwards. even against the biggest guys in our gym im always coming in. its a good way to make sure my iron face technique is up to scratch.

I'm the guy who presses on you until you're in a corner, and then its like BOOM HEADSHOT BOOM HEADSHOT BOOM HEADSHOT

Actually, I'm the fighter who likes to get inside, I deal with tall lanky guys too much not to. I also love a good Clinch with knees.

What kind of striker am I? Sloppy.

I'm supposed to be an outside counter puncher with my decent jab speed and reach but I love stepping inside and being the brawler. I know I need to keep my hands up and work defense but once I step inside I tend to square up and really let my hands go.
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.
