    Awesome.

When (if) the guy on the ground gets up he'll probably get to take about five steps before his heart explodes.

Alright, being as this guy (Ron Chapel) is professing to teach AK I'll step into this. This is not the standard technique, this is Ron Chapel's VERSION of it with what he calls SL4 (Sub-Level). SL4 is vastly different from what I do, and I have no use whatsoever for it. After attending an SL4 seminar by Ron, I couldn't believe people fell right into what he told them would happen. He uses a minor form of hypnosis similar to what George Dillman and Steve Stewart use to make his stuff work on his students or those that attend seminars. Obviously he couldn't get any of his material to play out with me during the seminar.

    Have a great Kenpo day

Heh, I knew you would appear over this one. I just wanted to see your comments on this, because I recall you saying that you've used sword of destruction in free-form sparring. I've also seen quite a few Kempo guys pull BS like this from various other branches than AK. I also liked the way the guy fell and all the noise you hear isn't from the actual strikes but from stomping/slapping his chest simultaneously.

Cool vid Realy enjoyed the way the tech was done, with total control effective reactions to the individual strikes, precision with weapons and target aquisition.

Probably a lot more but hey you don't really understand what's happening till you talk to people.

Now I love my American Kenpo as Clyde will tell you. But I'm learning stuff everyday from many sources which are improving my understanding of my skills.

It's easy to sit in cyberspace look at a vid and say BS about anything. If you really want to know for sure and have an open mind then go see the people involved.

    Thanks for your time.

You're joking, but that's just about what that branch of kenpo believes. THey take the Chinese myth of how the earth was created and then hit the nerve points corresponding to the creation myth in reverse order-- destructive sequencing (not kidding).

The founder, Ron Chapel, claims that it's possible to do the dim mak thing so that the guy will die days after you hit him. :beatdead:

I don't know about the rest of you guys but that vid was awesome! The way he almost kicked him, the way he almost struck him and the way the other guy almost KOd...

This guys are almost real fighters - now all they need to do - is connect!

    I was almost impressed
    :bduh:
